Project Engineer for Data Center

Department: Building Automation
Office location: Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur
Employment Status: Permanent

Essential duties/responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager in executing projects effectively.
  • Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Prepare shop drawings, control schematics, and panel drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Select appropriate control devices and prepare equipment lists for procurement.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor and control project engineering costs.
  • Provide on-site support, training, and technical guidance to customers.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and Operation & Maintenance manuals.
  • Assist in project budgeting, cost estimation, and progress claims.
  • Conduct site testing, commissioning, and system handover.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Attend site meetings and resolve technical or project-related issues.
  • Support service maintenance activities and after-sales service.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Education and/or work experience requirements:

1. Education & Experience
  • Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
  • Background: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Engineering, specifically within Data Center projects or Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Fresh Graduates: Highly motivated fresh graduates with strong academic results in relevant fields are encouraged to apply.
2. Technical Skills
  • Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating schematic and panel drawings.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with control devices, instrumentation, and HVAC systems.
  • Documentation: Ability to generate technical reports and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
3. Personal Attributes & Logistics
  • Communication: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken) to coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve site issues and technical discrepancies.
  • Mobility: Possess a valid driving license and a willingness to travel to various project sites (Klang Valley, Penang, Johor, or Kemaman).
  • Reliability: High level of integrity, especially when handling confidential customer information.

Sales Engineer for Semiconductor

Department: Control Product, Advance Automation
Office location: Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur
Employment Status: Permanent

Essential duties/responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales & marketing of products and service.
  • Response to all sales enquiries and prepare for the quotation.
  • Responsible for meeting customer requirements through service deliveries, establishing customers and identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Responsible to meet yearly target to achieve KPI.
  • Timely report to superior for the sales activities.
  • Update customers on company's new products regularly and obtain their feedback.
  • Prepare sales reports, presentation, proposal material and update job list.
  • Responsible to follow up the payment and collection with customers and update to Finance from time to time.
  • Ensure customer information to be kept confidentially and adequately according to company rules and regulations.
  • Work with service team to ensure after-sales service to customer, providing expert advice / consultancy, strengthening customer relationship, etc.
  • Work closely and maintain good communication within department and other departments.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for any other tasks assigned from time to time by superior.

Education and/or work experience requirements:

1. Education & Experience
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in industrial sales, marketing, or hands-on electrical engineering is a strong advantage.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. The ability to speak Japanese is a significant bonus.
2. Core Competencies & Skills
  • Business Skills: Strong background in sales, negotiation, and strategic planning.
  • Work Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and solve problems effectively under pressure.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and presentations.

  • Attitude: Proactive, self-motivated, and a positive team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to follow up effectively with vendors and customers.
4. Logistics & Mobility
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for outstation assignments and on-site client meetings.
  • Requirements: Must possess a valid driving license and own transport.
